Pamela Hilton
Pam has an extensive background in the convention/tourism industry in Utah. She was instrumental in establishing the St. George and Zion National Park Convention and Visitors Bureau (now St. George Area CVB) and served as its first Executive Director. During that time she worked to promote the St. George and Color Country area as a convention and tourist destination. In 1985 Pam became the marketing director for the Dixie Center at St. George where she worked in promoting, planning and executing conventions for the St. George/Zion National Park area. From 2002 – 2008 Pam took on a duel role as Director for both the Dixie Center at St. George and the St. George Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. From this she has an excellent understanding of both the marketing of tourism and the servicing of conventions & meetings from a facility point of view.
Educational background includes a BS degree in Elementary Education from the University of Utah. Involvement in trade associations includes: MPI, PCMA, USAE, ASAE, Grand Circle, Outdoor Writers Association of America. Currently serving on the boards of Zion Natural History Association. and the Utah Office of Tourism, and past board member for the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, USAE, Southern Utah Folk Life Festival, South West Series, Southern Utah & Mesquite Travel Alliance, and Special Olympics.
Pam has been involved in tourism on a state, national and international level in promoting and planning conventions, negotiating booking and contracting events, planning tours and golf tournaments, advertising, convention and tourism marketing and event planning.
Mark Wade
Mark has worked in marketing and event planning for many years and has organized events for corporate and other professional groups in the St. George, Zion National Park, and Utah region. He is the former director of Tourism for southwestern Utah (Lake Powell, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, St. George, etc.). Mark is a board member of the St. George / Zion National Park - Convention and Visitors Bureau and is well connected with the management of group event venues in the region.
